Job title: Artificial Intelligence (AI) Data Scientist (Intern/Junior/Senior/Staff/Distinguished)
Offered salary per month: Singapore dollars S$10,000 to S$40,000 depending on experience level (negotiable). Sign-on contract immediate bonus is also offered.
Aitagem is seeking an experienced and passionate Artificial Intelligence (AI) Data Scientist with a strong background in data science, data engineering, machine learning and AI, along with extensive presales and enablement/educational experiences. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leveraging data science and analytics to drive business solutions and possess in-depth knowledge of the latest AI/ML data tools. The hired candidate must have excellent English language communication skills and be willing to teach & mentor other people, because this role will require intensive educational enablement work. The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience and a strong passion for data science and data engineering. Several Data Scientists will be hired.
Key job responsibilities
• Engage with potential and current customers to understand their challenges, technology architectures, and business goals.
• Conduct professional discussions with customers to showcase proposed data solutions.
• Lead and/or engage in technical presales and educational enablement activities during the entire sales cycle, including sales qualifications, customer meetings, solutions presentations, educational discussions, architecture discussions, proof of concepts, AI validations, demos, etc.
• Translate complex technical data concepts into tangible business values and influence customers towards scalable data-driven solutions.
• Act as a point of contact with the client during the sales process and educational engagement, providing advisory support and leading technical discussions.
• Work with a variety of technical resources, including data engineers, BI developers, and machine learning developers.
• Collaborate closely with other colleagues, including sales, to close deals, supporting the full sales process of data solutions engineering, standard/customized solutions demonstrations, and proposal development.
• Respond appropriately to customers' requests.
• Identify new business opportunities, deriving new insights, extracting business values and leveraging the organization's assets and case studies.
• Design, develop, and innovate methods, processes and systems to consolidate and analyze structured, unstructured, diverse Big Data sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product development.
• Research, design, implement and deploy scalable data analytics vision to address complex business issues.
• Architect scalable and highly available applications leveraging the latest tools & technologies - eg langchain, llamaindex, etc.
• Work with diverse team members, partners and other relevant stakeholders to consolidate and build in-house technical assets to showcase to prospects and customers.
• Passionate about solving quantitative problems.
• Experience in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, SQL Big Data Cluster, HDFS, Databricks, etc.
• Proficiency in using machine learning tools and platforms, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, pandas, sckit-learn, etc.
• Demonstrate experience with data warehouse and data lake technical architectues, ETL/ELT, reporting/analytic tools.
• Experiences with common data science toolkits, machine learning techniques and algorithms.
• Strong programming experience in languages such as Python, R, SQL, SAS, etc.
• Experience in technology solutions such as Tableau, Informatica, Snowflake, OutSystems, etc.
• Experiences in building data models, including evaluating the models' accuracies, deploying the models, operationalizing models, etc.
• Ability to create PoC projects with limited tools in short time periods to showcase intended solutions for clients.
• Proficiency in at least one major cloud certification (Azure, AWS, GCP, Alibaba, Huawei) and experiences with cloud technologies for big data.
• Must be sincerely passionate about data science, data engineering, and any other data-related work.
• Must have a strong desire to learn continuously and apply learned knowledge to businesses to add value to customers.
• Must be adaptable to new unexpected situations and display strong perseverance skills.
• Must have strong communication skills in English language. Preferable to have Mandarin language communication skills too but not required.
• Perform other relevant work tasks and duties that are not limited to this job scope.
• University degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or any other quantitative field (preferably a Master's degree or above).
• Relevant programming qualifications and/or certifications.
• Relevant Agile certification or project management experience is preferable but not required.
• Experience with NLP (Natural Language Processing), sentiment analysis and related field is highly preferable but not required.
• The ideal candidate for this position MUST be sincerely passionate about data science, especially Artificial Intelligence (AI), and love learning continuously about AI. He/she must be able to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical and technical stakeholders and possess strong team collaboration skills. He/she must have high levels of integrity and honesty. Please take note that the process of interviews for this Data Scientist job will be rigorous, detailed and comprehensive.
